As a young Zimbabwean women studying International Relations in Europe, I could not resist the urge to explore the continent whilst I was there. I loved the ease that came with traveling due to the sheer abundance of information at my fingertips making it easy and exciting to find places to go, what to do there and so on and so forth, that helped me keep discovering new places to explore.

I had seen more of Europe than I had my own African continent, and that was not because of a lack of interest but from a lack of information. Something clearly had to change and I was determined to be the one to change it. And thus the Alkebulan Experience was born. Now having travelled to more African continents, immersing myself in a range of experiences from luxurious beach vacations, to city breaks with the most amazing wildlife safaris a mere hour away, I just continue to find myself in awe at just how much the continent has to offer. I am here to share these experiences and help you create your own ideal African experience and memories without feeling daunted by doing your own research into finding the perfect experience.
